On April 23, the delegation of China
Nonferrous Metals Industry Association (CNIA) led by Fan Shunke, Deputy
Secretary of the Party Committee, visited Weiqiao Pioneering Group and had in-depth
discussions and exchanges with Chairman Zhang Bo on the operation of the
aluminum industry, enterprise production and future development focus.
Fan Shunke introduced the overall
operation of the aluminum industry and the complex situation. He pointed out
that, at present, the global trade barriers are increasing, the emerging domestic
products pulls the consumption of aluminum obviously, as well as the scientific
and technological innovation leads the development of the industry and green
intelligent transformation.
Fan Shunko said that as a multinational company, Weiqiao
Pioneering Group has achieved high quality development and made great
contribution to the development of China’s aluminum industry and preservation
of China’s bauxite and iron resources. He also hoped that Weiqiao continues to
push forward on independent innovation and new qualitative product force to
increase its influences and competence on international stage and make
Weiqiao's contribution to the development of the national aluminum industry.
Zhang Bo expressed warm welcome and gratitude to Fan
Shunke and the delegation. He introduced Weiqiao’s progress on production,
project layout and periodical strategy. He pointed that Weiqiao will make more
contribution to facilitate the high quality development of China’s aluminum
industry through several initiatives such as developing company’s endogenous
growth, pursuing digital transformation, developing new qualitative production
force and promoting the construction of a modernized enterprise system.
At the meeting, the relevant experts made reports on
topics of aluminum export barriers and "carbon" constraints, aluminum
processing industry development, electrolytic aluminum alumina market trends .
After the meeting, the delegation visit
other projects of the company and spoke highly of the progress had been made.
